The Association was established on January 25, 2021, by like-minded psychologists who found their calling in studying the psychology of grief and providing assistance to individuals experiencing the loss of a loved one.
This period has been filled with productive work in the field of grief therapy, scientific research in the psychology of grief, and efforts towards standardization in the field of grief and loss. All of these endeavors are aimed at enhancing the qualifications of professionals working in this field and providing assistance to those in need.
Goals and mission
We aim to bring together professionals working in the field of grief and bereavement with the purpose of researching and advancing the field of grief psychology, promoting grief therapy, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and cutting-edge techniques among experts from Ukraine and around the world.
Our primary mission is to provide assistance:
✦ To professionals – enabling them to deepen and enhance their own knowledge and skills, understand contemporary techniques and practices in working with grief, and exchange experiences with colleagues.
✦ To all those who experience the loss of loved ones and require psychological support.
